My name is Wale Adeyemi. This is my story of purpose, presence, and intentional living.
I was born in the Bronx to two immigrant parents who worked tirelessly to build a better future. My father rose from fry cook to director of operations for a billion-dollar company. We moved from a modest neighborhood to a gated community in Florida, but success came at a cost—he was rarely present.
I felt uncertain about my path. I watched my father sacrifice his time for money, and I knew deep down that wasn't the life I wanted. But I didn't know what I was searching for.
I just knew there had to be more.
When I left home at eighteen, I made a promise to myself: I would never miss the moments for the money.
I threw myself into learning. I sought mentorship from successful individuals. I devoured books on personal development and financial literacy. I studied trading, investing, and wealth building with obsessive focus.
But it wasn't easy. I failed. A lot. I lost money. I made mistakes. I questioned everything. There were nights I stayed up wondering if I'd ever figure it out.
Then something shifted. I stopped looking for shortcuts. I embraced discipline. I committed to the process, not just the outcome. And slowly, things started to click.
I followed in my father's footsteps, working as a small business advisor for a tech giant. In my first year, I exceeded my quota by 144% and was promoted to enterprise account management—handling billion-dollar companies and closing eight-figure deals.
I had "made it." But I still wasn't fulfilled.
During this time, my daughter was born. I was grateful I could keep my promise—working remotely, caring for her, and still providing. But then came the memo: "Return to office full-time."
That was the line in the sand. I went to the office once with my daughter in my arms, worked my shift, and walked away. I never looked back.
Now, I trade. I teach. I raise my daughter. And I live by four pillars: faith, family, fitness, and finance.
Over the past decade, I've dedicated myself to mastering the markets. I've logged thousands of hours in live trading sessions. I've taught hundreds of students. I've watched people transform their lives by applying the same principles I learned through discipline and failure.
This isn't theory. This isn't hype. This is what I do daily, and what I teach others to do as well.
